flights & Transport
Flights will need to be arranged by each attendee in accordance with their own institution. Flight costs will need to be paid by each node. Please contact your node leader or administrator to confirm the best way to book your flights.
A number of chartered bus services will be available from Southern Cross train station and Melbourne airport (Tullamarine) directly to the conference venue. See final bus schedule here.

Accommodation for the ECR workshop and Annual retreat is located onsite at Mantra Lorne (see property map here). Your accommodation will be booked by OzGrav HQ. When filling out your registration form please ensure you have selected the correct dates you require accommodation.
All participants can reduce their accommodation costs by room sharing (twin share, 2 per room). Students and Postdocs are typically expected to share. If you have someone you would like to room share with, please indicate this in the registration form.
Accommodation rates are $169 per single room and $189 for twin share, inclusive of breakfast. Please note, upon check-in you will be asked to supply a credit card pre-authorisation (at $10 per room). If you wish to provide the guarantee in cash instead, you will need to pay $200.00 deposit.
Changes to and cancellation of accommodation
If you need to make any changes to your accommodation booking please contact Luana Spadafora (email@example.com) as soon as possible. Cancellation fees apply from 18 September 2019. Although OzGrav HQ will make the accommodation booking on your behalf, if you cancel or you are a no show, all costs associated will be charged back to your institution.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner will be provided during the workshop and retreat (18-22 November*). If you have any dietary requirements, please ensure you make a note of these when you register under the dietary information field on the registration form.
Additionally, OzGrav have arranged a number of morning and evening social activities throughout the ECR workshop and retreat. We encourage you to all to come along and have some fun with your fellow OzGravers. These events are paid for by OzGrav and we hope you can all attend.
* Lunch and dinner is not included on 22 November.
The conference dinner will be held on Thursday 21st November and the costs for members will be covered by OzGrav HQ. If you would like to bring a family member(s) or guest along to the conference dinner please indicate this in the registration form. Note that OzGrav HQ will cover costs for a child to attend the conference dinner, but will charge the cost for a partner or guest back to the individual. Tickets for additional dinner guests can be purchased here.

Our retreats are intended to be family-friendly, and children and partners are welcome. Childcare will be available onsite. Please indicate in your registration if you require childcare and we will liaise directly with you regarding options available.
Should OzGrav members bring partners and/or children, OzGrav HQ will cover the accommodation costs, meals, and childcare for children. Any additional costs incurred for a partner to join meals, dinners, social activities etc will be charged back to the individual.

Parking is available on-site at Mantra Lorne for day and overnight use. A map of the venue and entrance point can be found here. (Note the numbered parking bays on the perimeter and throughout the property.)
