POSTER INSTRUCTIONS 

If you are presenting a poster please note the following guidelines:
  • Your poster should be no bigger than A0 in size (841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8 inches) and Portrait (vertical) in orientation. You will print your own poster and bring it with you. There are no printing facilities available at the retreat venue.
  • Posters will be displayed on the walls on the convention rooms
  • You will need to set up your poster by Tuesday 19 November between 5:30pm-6:30pm  in the convention foyer
  •  Pack down of your poster will be Thursday 21 November 3:00-3.30pm in  the afternoon tea break or from 5.00-5.30pm

Poster Sparkler Talks:
The idea with the 1 minute sparkler talk is to say something brief and exciting to get people interested in your research and wanting to know more. They will then come and speak with you about it during the poster session.
  • you will be allowed a maximum of 1 slide (landscape format) and 1 minute;
  • a bell will sound at the 1-minute mark and you will finish;
  • please do not try to cover too much in your one minute - this is a highlight talk only;
  • please rehearse your talk prior to the conference.

Sparkler Slides must be emailed to Luana Spadafora lspadafora@swin.edu.au by no later than Tuesday 12 November
