POSTER INSTRUCTIONS 

If you are presenting a poster please note the following guidelines:
  • Your poster should be no bigger than A0 in size (841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8 inches) and Portrait (vertical) in orientation. You will print your own poster and bring it with you. There are no printing facilitaties available at the retreat venue.
  • Posters will be displayed on poster boards with 2 posters per board 
  • You will need to set up your poster Friday 7 December between 5:00pm-6:00pm  outside the Samuel Copley conference meeting room
  •  Pack down of your poster will be Saturday 8 December 2:30pm- 3:00pm in  the afternoon tea break.

Poster Sparkler Talks:
The idea with the 1 minute sparkler talk is to say something brief and exciting to get people interested in your research and wanting to know more. They will then come and speak with you about it during the poster session.
  • you will be allowed a maximum of 1 slide (landscape format) and 1 minute;
  • a buzzer will sound at the 1-minute mark and you will finish;
  • please do not try to cover too much in your one minute - this is a highlight talk only;
  • please rehearse your talk prior to the conference.

The Sparkler talks will be held in Saturday 8 December. You will be advised of your exact time-slot and the location of your poster at the registration desk on 7 December.

Sparkler Slides must be emailed to Erin O'Grady eogrady@swin.edu.au by no later than 30 November 2018
