– I am a radio transient astronomer with knowledge of the radio characteristics of a wide range of transient objects.
– Knowledge of early-time properties of BNS and NS-BH mergers, particularly through my work focusing on gamma-ray bursts (both short and long). This includes the predicted radio emission such as prompt, coherent radio (FRB-like) signals and energy injection potentially produced by a quasi-stable, rapidly rotating, neutron star remnant.
– I have driven and implemented the rapid-response (automated) observing capabilities on both the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) and the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA).
– I lead the MWA triggering program specifically designed to capture prompt, coherent radio signals from BNS and NS-BH mergers. detected by LVK.
