I’m a PhD candidate in astrophysics at the University of Queensland, with honours degrees in both physics and aerospace engineering, a decade of experience as a science educator and industry experience as an engineer. My research focuses on using modern Bayesian modelling tools like JAX and NumPyro to problems in cosmology, namely estimating the masses of the central supermassive black holes of active galactic nuclei from time series data with reverberation mapping.
