I have a background in analysing time-domain, optical data with high performance computing, making use of the OzStar/Ngarru Tindebeek supercompter. I am also knowledgable about Gamma-ray Bursts and their multi-messenger counterparts.
I have conducted observations with a range of facilities both in Australia and overseas. These include the Keck Telescopes, the Blanco Telescope with the Dark Energy Camera, the Anglo-Australian Telescope with the 2dF instrument, the Australia Telescope Compact Array and Murriyang. I have also been granted time with the Los Cumbres Observatory and Gemini-South.
In short, I will bring my experience with analysing high cadence optical data as well as operating and proposing for time on telescopes. This will provide capability to OzGrav in following up gravitational wave alerts and further our understanding of the extreme events that accompany gravitational waves.
