Lieke is a PhD student at Monash University,, working on hydrodynamic modelling of compact binaries. She completed her Bachelor’s in Physics and Astronomy at Leiden University and her Master’s in Theoretical Physics at the University of Amsterdam. Her Master’s research centred on end-to-end modelling of kilonovae from binary neutron star mergers.
