I’m a gravitational-wave astrophysicist based at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. I use gravitational waves detected by the LIGO, Virgo and KAGRA observatories to learn about black holes, stars, galaxies, and cosmology. I’m a member of the LIGO Collaboration and currently co-chair the Rates and Populations group. In addition to research, I mentor CITA postdoctoral fellows and University of Toronto students.
