I am a cosmologist interested in the local peculiar velocity field and what it can tell us about cosmic growth and expansion in the local universe. I have developed pipelines, using python, R, and C, to measure correlation functions using clustering and peculiar velocity data from surveys such as 6dFGS and DESI.
I am also interested in prodcing reconstructions of the local velocity field from redshift surveys, and using these reconstructions to produce more accurate redshift estimates for local distance indicators such as gravitational wave standard sirens. By constructing more accurate velocity field estimates, we hope to optimise measurements of the Hubble constant made using gravitational waves
