I’m a Masters in Statistics student at The University of Auckland, working in the astrostatistics working group. I’m also working full-time as a data scientist/statistician at an engineering consultancy in Auckland. My background is in engineering, and I worked for a couple of years in robotics and additive manufacturing before I decided to pivot my career into data science/statistics. At the moment, I’m keen to be involved in the OzGrav community, learn more about astronomy and contribute my research so that we can detect rotating core-collapse supernovae one day!
