Silver Pleaides Award

Picture
OzGrav received a Silver Pleiades Award in 2021 by the ASA, for our continued commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in Astronomy. The Silver Pleiades recognises organisations with a sustained record of at least two years monitoring and improving the working environment. It also recognises leadership in promoting positive actions as examples of best practice to other organisations in the astronomy community.
This represents a commitment to building a better working environment for all Australasian astronomers, and OzGrav gained feedback helpful in further advancing equity and diversity initiatives.
