Early career researcher (ECR) workshop

​Date:  18 & 19 November 2019
(Please note, there will be a Welcome Reception on Sunday night 17 November. Buses will be leaving Southern Cross station Sunday afternoon).

The OzGrav Early Career Researcher (ECR) workshop is open to all OzGrav students and postdoctoral researchers. It is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow OzGrav students/ECRs.  The theme of this year's ECR workshop is Building Your Strategic Career. Topics may include: career paths inside and outside academia; identifying your career goals priorities; mentoring and networking strategies; tips for job hunting and interviews; communicating your science.  There will also be lots of time for social activities and exploring the local surrounds, including the beach and forest hikes.

The Annual Retreat is open to all OzGrav members. The theme of this year's retreat is The future of OzGrav: planning for success​.  The retreat will include a mix of interactive sessions, science talks, panel discussions and keynote presentations, with a particular focus on strategic planning for the second half of OzGrav's lifetime.
